Minimum Qualifications: 

Paraprofessionals are required to have at least an associate’s degree or the equivalent of that. Passing the placement Test will meet this requirement. Information about the test can be obtained from the personnel office.

 

Ability to work independently and follow written and oral directions.  Patience, compassion, and understanding required. Must have the ability to establish respectful relationships with students.

 

 

Duties: Work as an instructional assistant under the direction of the Principal or designee.  Assist in supervising students, administering lesson materials, and work one on one with students.        

 

 

Assignment is 6.5 hours per day / 5 days per week/10-month employee

 

Salary range: $14.04-$15.49 Depending on expereince.

 

This is a  benefited position. Benefit package includes medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; employer-paid PERS.
